DSi outsells every console on the market, combined!

It was a week of tremendous victory and another big fish, namely the new Dragon Quest for DS.

With the Japanese lust for Dragon Quest IX it is no surprise DSi sales skyrocketed. Also, the popular baseball franchise Pro Yakyuu Spirits sees its PS2 and PS3 versions in the top five. DSi and Dragon Quest IX literally rocked the charts this week.

Confirmations of economic woes in the video game industry saw Sony and Nintendo take a fall, reports Bloomberg news. June sales of Sony's PlayStation 3 plunged 59 percent as Nintendo's Wii console slumped 46 percent, said NPD. They continued, sales of Microsoft's Xbox 360 increased 9.5 percent.
