Forum Problems

Regular readers will have noticed that we've been having a few problems with the forums over the past few days. Never fear though, our esteemed leader (Dennis), has managed to mend them from far off lands. Let the posting begin...

  You keep mending them and yet nothing has happened for months post wise.

  We're not entirely sure why this is. We know thousands of people visit the site but no one seems to post. Most people seem to write to us direct. If you have any ideas please let us know.

  I think people just don't have need for the forums- most of the topics they talk about they do on the news posts rather then on the forums. And like you said write to you direct as well. I also think lots of people are already members of forums, for example I go to both neogaf and vooks, meaning I don't have time to go to another forum. To me I remember when the private message system came alive for the main site- lots of people pm' me for Wi-Fi matches. If this was worked on again and a Wi-Fi lounge page was introduced to the forums, I think there would be more activity in that way. I don't think you will be ever able to restore the forums.
