Videogame industry tanking?
For the first time, the videogame industry has hit the skids. Quickie business news is back, but this time not so sexy.
The recession is hammering the video game industry, reports Fox news. The market's fourth consecutive monthly decline is 31 percent, according to NPD. That's the largest decline since September 2000, before the worst economic crisis in a century.
"This level of decline is certainly going to cause some pain and reflection in the industry," said Anita Frazier of NPD.
For the first half of the year, industry sales are down 12 percent.
Meanwhile, Trans World News declares Nintendo stock a 'penny pick'. Meaning it is a cheap stock to buy, and probably going to go up; sooner rather than later.
