Ghostbusters (NOT) Coming Soon!

If like us, you've been waiting all year for Wii and DS versions of the cult movie Ghostbusters then you're in for a bit of a disappointment. Originally intended to release to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the film the game has now slipped until the end of the year thanks to Sony (who own the rights to the original movie) putting a delay on all formats except for theirs. As far as we know, it will still see the light of day but you'll be putting it on your Christmas lists rather than playing on the beach.

  It sucks really considering that all versions of the game are complete and are going on sale in the coming week in the US, if they aren't already out. Luckily for 360 owners, the game isn't region locked but alas it is for the Wii. Really, they could have delayed it a week or so to give their own versions that extra push with the release of the Blu Ray movies but then again, that would be too simple for Sony's tastes.
