Virtual Villagers set for DS

Through distributors' release schedules, we already knew that Virtual Villagers would make the move from PC and MacOS to Nintendo DS, but today it's official. Update dtp entertainment has contacted us and confirmed an international release. As proof, some first English screenshots have been released. A full press statement will follow later today.

German-based publisher dtp entertainment has made it official: Keen Games is working on Virtual Villagers for Nintendo DS. The game, set for a German release this June already, follows it bigger brothers on PC and MacOS as a strategic puzzler and having an underlying motif throughout with a fusion of ethnic and cultural backgrounds surrounding a tropical island.

Unfortunately a release outside of Germany has not yet been confirmed.
