Sibling stabbing over DS

In the French village of Uckange a 5 year old boy allegedly stabbed his 10 year old sister because she wouldn't give her DS system to him. Curiously, the Power Rangers are also involved.

In a tragic case where the reporting asserts cause-and-effect, the report unfolds like a nightmare. The girl is hospitalized, but not in mortal danger. The boy was fully aware of what he'd done and said he thought the knife was a toy. Mentioned was the boy's fondness for knife-throwing Power Rangers. The father who abandoned them was physically abusive so therein lay the most explicit origin. It's easy to see where some will go with this.
