Nintendo DSi: UK Release Date Announced!

We've just received an e-mail from those nice people at Game UK informing us of the official release date for the improved DS. The date to mark in your diaries is...

3rd of April, which is much sooner than everyone here imagined. Game UK's listed on-line price is £159.99 (with a memory card) but our advice is to shop around for the best deal.

  They seem to be trying to push the console in bundles when you go on the website to pre-order. You do have to go through the text to find the links to just buy the console on its own. Really, they shouldn't be pushing the bundles and they have hidden the links to just pre-order the console on its own. Still, £150 is a bit expensive for what it offers. Personally, at this moment in time my ice blue DS lite is perfectly fine.

  I was expecting it to enter around the £120 mark. £150 is too much, but I'm not interested in a new DS anyway. My DS Phat is still going strong on the rare occasions I play it!

  i just traded my ds lite in so i only have to pay £75 for it! my ds lite was even broken at the hinge, but they still took it! i highly reccomend that other people do that!
