PSP vs. DS in the 21st century
Numbers out of Japan, but who's counting? And who's surprised?
The gaming unit of Sony said Friday that sales of its portable game console the PSP topped 50 million units worldwide, as of January, since its debut in 2004; 11.5 million sold in Japan.
But here's some perspective. The figure compares with the cumulative sales of its rival Nintendo DS at 96 million units as of the end of last year. Nintendo DS debuted around the same time as the PSP.

I really wanted to like the PSP but there's only a handful of great games for it and I use my iPod Touch as a media player now as it's much smaller that the PSP.
Same here, there's only a couple of PSP games that have vaguely interested me over the past two years. One of those is God Of War, which I might get eventually.
God of War is well worth a purchase as are the two Syphon Filters.
