Cate West sleuthing throughout the world
The Vanishing Files mystery arrives in Europe, Australia and New Zealand in Q3 2009. But should the price point scare us?
Oxygen Games announced the whodunit mystery, Cate West: The Vanishing Files, will be available in Europe, Australia and New Zealand in Q3 2009.
A series of unsolvable crimes, dubbed "The Vanishing Files", have paralyzed the city. The police turn to crime novelist Cate West, whose psychic visions might just be the key to solving the mystery. Help Cate find clues, compile evidence and track down hideouts to discover the link between these crimes and an unsolved mystery from Cate's past!
"With addictive gameplay, an engrossing storyline and beautiful locations, Cate West is an original whodunit that is sure to delight seek-and-solve fans of all ages", said Oxygen Games CEO Jim Scott.
The DS version is already out in America with a $20 price point, roughly the same cost in the UK. Should this alone give alarm? Was less care put into it to care? Is it based on the economy or just another casual gimmick game? The US version of the Wii iteration set to release in March at a paltry $30 price point (£29.99) : wow! We could be worried, but let's hope it's just a mystery.
