Pokémon Platinum for preorder February 15

Nintendo of America announced preorders for Pokon Platinum will begin February 15, and hurry; they're in short supply. Preorder and receive a limited-edition Giratina figurine.

Pokon games have always required players to have a sense of timing and good strategy. So here's one move that's sure to produce awesome results. Beginning Feb. 15, Pokon fans who reserve a copy of the upcoming Pokon Platinum for the Nintendo DS system will receive a Giratina Origin Forme figure, while supplies last.

The Giratina Origin Forme has never been seen before and appears for the first time in the Pokon Platinum Version videogame, which launches in the United States on March 22. The figure will be available nationwide through participating retailers. Most retailers will provide the figure when a reservation is made, though consumers are advised to check with their preferred retailer for details.

Pokon Platinum is the latest epic Pokon adventure. With new features, Pokon formes and online options, it expands on the best elements from previous Pokon titles.

"Pokon fans know all about one-of-a-kind characters, and this figure [Giratina] is sure to get them fired up for Pokon Platinum Version," said Cammie Dunaway, NOA's VP of Sales & Marketing.
