Today, Nikkei reported a rumour about Pokon for the GameCube being developed: Nintendo is supposed to release this new game next summer.

So why would this affect the GBA? Well, the article also suggested that you'll need a GBA and Pokon Ruby or Sapphire in order to play the GameCube version of Pokon.

Miyamoto stated a few weeks ago that the new Pokon game wouldn't be anything like N64's Pokon Stadiums, but leaves a lot of questions for now. To be continued?
