Icarian: Kindred Stories - New Details

We bring you details on the upcoming WiiWare title Icarian: Kindred Stories which seems to be very similar to Kid Icarus.

A few weeks ago a new WiiWare title was revealed that was titled Icarian: Kindred Stories. Of course when it was revealed it bared a striking resemblance to Nintendos own Kid Icarus franchise. It seems that the developers of this title what to reinforce the fact this is not based on Kid Icarus but has a greek influence, just like Kid Icarus does.

The game sees the player controlling the main character Nyx with both the WiiRemote and Nunchuk. Throughout the game Nyx will receive 'Gifts from the Gods', which are power-ups, that do things that allow Nyx to have super strength, control wind and several other things.

2 Player Co-op will also be included with one player controlling Nyx while the other controls the IR. The game is being developed by Top Studios which contain only four people.
