Japan: Weekly Game and Hardware Sales

Last week, all top five games were new releases with all systems accounted for save the PlayStation3. Animal Crossing: City Folk (bundled with Wii Speak) debuted impressively at #1 with over 300k sold in three days.

Software

1. Machi e Ikouyo: Doubutsu no Mori on Wii selling 305,180 units 2. Chrono Trigger on DS selling 270,868 units 3. Kidou Senshi Gundam: Gundam vs Gundam on PSP selling 266,932 units 4. Last Remnant on Xbox 360 selling 101,543 units 5. Saka-Tsuku DS: Touch and Direct selling 71,661 units

Hardware

1. DSi selling 88,843 units 2. PSP selling 61,226 units 3. Wii selling 35,298 units
