New Wii Set For 2011?

Multiple sources from both game developers and publishers have confirmed that Nintendo is currently showing early presentations of its next home console hardware.

Nintendo has apparently been showing off its next home console hardware in some presentations. Multiple sources have confirmed of Nintendo's doing and have reported that the next home console from Nintendo will hit in 2011 but will also be a true successor to the Nintendo Wii.

The sources have confirmed that Nintendo regards this as their true 'next generation' console. The console is being regarded as 'Wii HD' as it is set to be a more powerful model of the Nintendo Wii with high definition visuals and a larger memory storage this could be regarded as the Wii everyone wants.

Of course Nintendo have already been questioned about it and their response has simply been 'Å“Nintendo does not comment on speculation or rumor,'? meaning they haven't totally denied it.

  This does sound like something Nintendo would do as it is technically what they did with the gameboy starting it off with Gameboy to Gameboy Color and then to Gameboy Advance.

  "Wii HD" true next generation? In 2011 it will be obvious to have HD support in a console, and cheap to implement! What's the novelty? But Wii HD will be "next generation" when the other console at that time will be "next next generation": rumor says that the next Xbox will come out in 2010, and that the next PS4 will come out in 2011-2012 timespan. No surprise, because the active lifespan of a console is of 5 year.
