Nobody cares about E3 anyway, everybody know the best news is to be released on Tokyo Game Show. Nintendo normally doesn't even participate in E3, they have their own press conference and TGS. E3 is just a taste on what's to come, everybody's saving all the good stuff for TGS.
Nintendo doesn't attend TGS. And plus, Nintendo have nothing else to announce for the remainder of the year. Everything that has been shown/announced is what you'll be getting. If you're waiting for something else, you'll have to wait until GDC 09 or E3 09. As for other companies, I think there may be some announcements at TGS but not many. It seems this year is the one destined to be a lull seeing as last year we had loads of key franchises from all the big companies.
