WII Photobook As New Wii Channel... For Japan

Those in Japan get all the new stuff. Now Nintendo, in partnership with FujiFilm, has release a Wii channel which allows you to print photos.

Ever wanted one of your digital photos to be send to your friends or relative, but not digital? Now Nintendo and FujiFilm have released a Wii channel in which you can actually print your photos in various ways. Postcards, plain photos, a photo album, calendars, you name it. It's all there, in the Photobook Channel.

Photos can be read straight from SD card and used by the Wii's software to create the product you desire. After that, using the Wii's Wi-Fi connection, you can directly send the order to FujiFilm. Of course, the product and bill will be delivered to you afterwards. What's next, ordering a pizza through Wii?

Some screenshots of the channel and generated products can be found in the (Japanese) instruction manual for the channel and on the minisites by FujiFilm and Nintendo Japan.
