Square Enix announced that it will release Chrono Trigger in North America this Holiday season. Remastered exclusively for Nintendo DS, this marks the first time that the groundbreaking RPG will be available on a handheld console.

Originally released in 1995 on Super NES and shipping more than 2.5 million copies worldwide, Chrono Trigger has been hailed as one of the greatest games of all time by critics and fans alike.   It has just been confirmed that this game will be a "remastered" version of the original Chrono Trigger. It will just be another SquareEnix port to handheld console. Looks like the lost Chrono Resurrection project is still as it is, lost.

  Yes! I can't wait to play through it all again and maybe even finish it this time. "Looks like the lost Chrono Resurrection project is still as it is, lost." That was never being developed by Square Enix to begin with. It was a fan remake that was desisted by SE years ago.
