NDS Band Brothers Return As Well

More news from Famitsu (oh, how we missed the latest gossip from the Japanese magazine): the return of Dai Gassà Band Brothers on Nintendo DS.

Although the first title never reached the United States, Europe or Australia, that's not keeping Nintendo from planning a sequel to the popular rhythm title for Nintendo DS. In the latest edition of Famitsu, Nintendo has announced Dai Gassà Band Brothers DX.

The game is said to feature over thirty different song, again ranging from classical music to J-Pop. Most likely the covers of popular Nintendo titles won't be absent either. Apart from that, the amount of different instruments is said to be raised to over fifty. As an extra, the instruments can be 'played': to play the guitar, one can 'jam' the touchscreen. Furthermore, the game will feature up to 7-player multiplay and a karaoke-mode with downloadable content (over one hundred different songs are planned).

Dai Gassà Band Brothers DX is currently set for a Japanese release on June 26.
