WII More Details On Wii Ware - First Titles Announced

More news from the Nintendo Conference 2007 Fall: more details on the download-service Wii Ware have arrived.

It's not news that Nintendo is planning a rollout on its download-service for Wii, called Wii Ware. The announcement by mr Iwata of the release of the service in March 2008 however is.

The first titles available for download contain: - A new version of Dr. Mario (Nintendo) - Star Soldier R (Hudson, 2D Shooter) - Joysound Wii (Hudson, Karaoke) - Mojipittan Wii (Bandai Namco, Puzzle) - Pokon Bokujà (Nintendo, RPG allowing for link-options with Pokon Diamond & Pearl) - Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles: The Little King and The Promised Land (Square Enix, RPG)

At the moment, only the 'price' for the new Final Fantasy title has been revealed: 1500 Wii Points.

  • I am more interested in that Pokemon RPG, wonder how much that would cost. More importantly, I wonder how much percentage does Nintendo charge for these wares.

  • that pokemon 'RPG' you're talking of, is nothing more than Pokemon Farm where you transfer your pokemon to the Wii and give them grades or something like that. It's not a proper RPG. Well thats what I'm reading. Anyone care to prove me wrong?

  • What I'm most interested in is when the FUCK are we finally gonna be able to exchange our star points for Wii points 'cos it has been talked about for so long, but... Probably never gonna happen, or at least not until Wii sales drop drastically or something. Nintendo's just making too much money from Virtual Console games to let some get them for free. =|
