Anno 1701 Competition: The Results

We've held quite a few competitions over the years and while some have been well received other have gained very few entries. Anno 1701, on the other hand, is clearly a game you're all very excited about and, in the two week period the competition was open, we received hundreds of entries making it our most successful competition to date.

Up for grabs this time were three copies of the game for the Nintendo DS and the question was: While 1701 is an entirely random date, what world-changing event happened in 1492?

  Just to rectify this, Columbus found the West Indies first before he found mainland America in 1492. Anyway, congrats to the winners.
