Star Soldier R for Wii

Hudson shows off Star Soldier R for Wii in playable form at their annual caravan. Video and more inside.

Last July there was talk about Hudson's President, Takahashi Meijin, stating on his blog that he was uncertain weather Star soldier would be made for the Wii. Yesterday a report was posted over at japangamingguide.com revealing that "Star Soldier R" was actually in development and in playable form at the annual Hudson caravan. A classic and hardcore shoot-em-up Star Soldier R for Wii follows it predecessors closely in level design, with updated 3D visuals, and classic controller support.

Hudson has a history of displaying and even giving away unreleased games at these Hudson caravan events. With gamers now familiar with the Virtual Console predecessors however it is most likely Hudson will eventually complete development and release this title to the masses. Shmup fans Stay tuned.
