While Destineer Software announced this some time ago we've seen or heard little else. Until now that is. In Indianapolis 500 Legends, players assume the roles of 30 of the sport's most daring real-life legends like Al Unser, A.J. Foyt and Parnelli Jones as they draft, dodge and slingshot through a virtual minefield on a track where speeds of up to 180 miles per hour defined racing's frontier mentality.

The game is being developed by Australian studio, Torus and while there's no UK or European release date yet, we'll keep you posted. For now though you can see screens of the game in action by visiting its gamepage here.
