At an event in Cannes, Ubisoft confirmed the release of Red Steel 2 for the Nintendo Wii. Various sources are claiming Ubisoft also confirmed online play for the title.
Just to clarify, this game has NOT been officially announced and wasn't announced at the event. Ubisoft haven't denied that Red Steel 2 is in development. They have said that an announcement, were it to be made about this game, would be made later in the year with E3 being a high candidate for such an announcement.

So far the best FPS game on Wii that I have seem is Monkey Wars in Super Monkey Ball Blitz.
