Nintendo's digital downloads to earn double stars

If you were still in doubt whether or not to go for the digital downlooad version of New Super Mario Bros. 2 or New Art Academy: European buyers get twice the Club Nintendo Stars to promote the digital distribution channel.

Mario's latest golden adventure is released on August 17th on Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL, both as a packaged version in retail stores and on Nintendo eShop as a digital download! If you choose the convenience of downloading it directly from Nintendo eShop you'll receive double the Stars in your Club Nintendo account!

Simply purchase New Super Mario Bros. 2 from Nintendo eShop within four weeks of August 17th and you'll receive a bonus 250 Stars on top of the usual 250 Stars you get for registering Nintendo 3DS software.

That's not all the bonus action on offer, though. You'll also receive double Stars for purchasing Freakyforms Deluxe Your Creations, Alive! and New Art Academy: Learn New Painting Techniques and Share Your Art, also launching in Nintendo eShop on August 17th. But hurry - double Stars are only available for four weeks!

Stars can be redeemed for great gifts in the Club Nintendo Stars Catalogue. With double Stars for purchasing these games from Nintendo eShop it's now even quicker to save up for cool and exclusive items.
