Seaman to return on 3DS?

Rumor alert: the weird fishlike virtual pet from SEGA Dreamcast, Seaman, might be revived on Nintendo 3DS. At least, if we're to believe Nikkei's latest report on Nintendo.

According to a recent report by Nikkei's online department on Nintendo, the classic Dreamcast virtual pet simulator Seaman might be revived on the Nintendo 3DS soon. Although this rumor is not entirely new, as Seaman's father Yoot Saito already hinted at a revival back in 2010, it is striking that Nikkei's analysts are claiming a similar story.

Aside from Seaman, Nikkei also mentions a plan to revive other publishers' titles on the Nintendo 3DS but does not mention any particular titles.

  To be fair if it does happen it could be pretty good. Everyone was saying back when the DS was first released it was perfect for it.
