Nintendo DSi LL OFFICIAL
A few days ago we already reported on Nikkei claiming a new iteration of the Nintendo DSi hardware. Today we can confirm that Nintendo of Japan has officially announced the Nintendo DSi LL.
Nintendo of Japan has officially announced the Nintendo DSi LL, a new iteration of the Nintendo DSi hardware featuring larger screens as its main selling point. The Nintendo DSi LL will appear on the Japanese shelves on November 21 already for a suggested retail price of 20.000 Yen (approximately $200).

The DSi LL will feature two screens of 4.2 inch each, which will both also be improved versions compared to the current screens used in the regular DSi's: the viewing angle of the screens has been improved, so your friends can watch you play your games from now on. To make room for the larger screens, the DSi LL will measure 161.0mm by 91.4mm and be 21.2mm thick. Furthermore, an additional stylus will be included, called the Touch Pen, which will measure 129.3mm.

The Nintendo DSi LL, aimed at the elderly people and people with problems with their vision, will become available in three different colors at launch: "Dark Brown", "Wine Red" and "Natural White".
