WII Grand Slam Tennis Wii reviewed

Given just how popular Tennis is around the world we're sure there are many of you eagerly awaiting the return of Wimbledon tomorrow. EA certainly are and just to prove the point they've released a Wii title to coincide with it.

It's common knowledge now that the Wii remote works better with sports based titles and EA have built Grand Slam Tennis with this in mind. Over the past few months they've had just about every tennis ace giving it the once over but what's it like for the average gamer? You can discover what Chris thought with his review of Grand Slam Tennis for the Wii.

  • I hate tennis! Just had to get that off my chest. Sorry.

  • I tried SEGA's Virtua Tennis using the Wii MotionPlus accessory, but have to admit I didn't "notice" anything new really.

  • Yeh, the difference the motion plus brings to these tennis titles is hardly noticeable at first. You will start to notice once you get used to putting spin on the ball and stuff. The motion plus really won't have its full potential shown until either Tiger Woods or Wii Sports Resort.

  • I also had the chance to try Tiger Woods and that one gave a bit more "Plus" feeling. Best noticable with disc golf and giving spin to the ball.
