Nintendo Pre-E3 Press Conference

Within 30 minutes, Nintendo's yearly pre-E3 press conference will start in Los Angeles. Be sure to check back later to see the latest news coming from the conference. Update 19:40 (CET) Press conference ended. Stay tuned as we expect the full press kits to hit the web any time now.

Update 18:30 (CET) The conference has started. Stay tuned for the first updates.

The conference starts off with Miyamoto orchestrating using the Wii-controller. Next up: Reggie Fils-Aime. Reggie tells the crowd that the new gaming sensation will not be about next-gen: playing = believing

Update 18:40 (CET) First Wii screenshots titles shown. A few trailers of upcoming Wii titles are shown. Complete coverage on the Nintendo Wii can be found over at Wii-x2.

Update 19:15 (CET) We're on to the Nintendo DS. George Harrisson tells the crowd about the wonder that is Nintendo DS. Millions of units sold, withstanding the Sony PSP. The launch of Nintendo WiFi Connection. Many great games launched (Nintendogs, Mario Kart and many more).

Update 19:20 (CET) New DS games announced George tells us that new DS titles are on their way: Diddy Kong Racing, Yoshi's Island 2 and Starfox DS. Over 100 titles will be available before the end of the year.

The full list of games shown: Mario Hoops 3 on 3, Starfox DS, Elite Beat Agents (or: Ouendan), Yoshi's Island 2, Pokon Mystery Dungeon, Diddy Kong Racing, Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Big Brain Academy and Mario vs DK: March of the Minis.
