ALL Zelda: Twilight Princess Delayed

The GameCube title Zelda: Twilight Princess has been delayed, now why could that be?

Our development team has decided to take extra time to add some incredible new elements to The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. As a result, the game will now launch in 2006 globally. We recognize there may be some disappointed fans, however we firmly believe this additional time will result in a much more enjoyable gaming experience.

These are the words used by Nintendo to announce the delay of the GameCube title. Recently, Nintendo was asked whether the title would feature connectivity with the GameBoy Advance or Nintendo DS. The response was that Nintendo was currently thinking about 'good' options and that they, if found any, would try to implement those options in the game.

While nothing has been confirmed yet, it is possible that the delay due to the addition of 'incredible new elements' involves Nintendo DS or GameBoy Advance interactivity. If this turns out, we'll definately inform you of the latest news.

  • Maybe there is a special room in it that gives you a mysterious code on how to get the Tri-Force in OoT? Maybe...

  • Hmmm.... maybe for better horse combat? The other elements that are usually used in dungeons are as brillant as usual from what I've read, but supposedly the horse combat is not on par with Zelda standards. And with that being the focus in Sony's Shadow of the Colossus, Nintendo must've felt obligated to redo it so it's not too easy.

  • Have you SEEN screens of the game? It has nice graphics. And I doubt it will connect to the DS, as that would require new hardware like a cable or something, which would just be a waste. Gamecube goes to the GBA Revolution will go to the DS
