GC 2011: RE: Revelations Trailer and Screenshots

Gamescom 2011 officially gets under way today in Cologne today and to go with it, Capcom have released a brand new trailer and new screenshots for the eagerly anticipated Resident Evil: Revelations on the 3DS.

The new trailer and screenshots show off Chris Redfield's side of the story and new partner Jessica, with Capcom having stated that there'll be two intertwining tales told through the game from the perspective of Chris and former partner Jill.

Both also continue to show the impressive work being done with the MT Framework engine on the 3DS, with the game easily showing some of the most impressive visuals to be seen on the handheld yet, even at this early stage which can only mean good things heading forward.

Capcom also reiterated that the game is still very much on course for release in early 2012 so gamers won't have too long to wait before they can get their hands on what is shaping up to be a must have title for the console.

  This game just looks better and better everytime Capcom release new media for it. It shames a lot of Wii games and pretty much everything else shown for the 3DS so far. Genuinely beautiful game and can't wait till it's out next year.
