3DS The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D Info + Screens

Nintendo has released a new batch of screenshots for the upcoming title. As well as reconfirming the existence of Master Quest, and revealing a brand new mode as well.

There is only one game on every ones mind right now for the 3DS. A remake of a classic, but a game which will be the systems biggest hitter this year, and possibly its life. Ocarina of Time is back, in 3D and heading to stores mid June. Even Nintendo knows this, with a new round of information and screenshots to keep people entertained until the big day.

One of the biggest enhancements to the original game, Master Quest, has been reconfirmed to be inside the 3DS version. However, Master Quest mode is modified just a little. While it continues to retain the traditional modifications, Master Quest will also be a Mirror Mode. Meaning that Master Quests world will be flipped. Similar to how Twilight Princess (another Zelda Title) appeared flipped on the Wii, and the original intended way on the Nintendo Gamecube.

But Master Quest isn't the big news here, especially when we knew already about what it would offer. No, Nintendo has just another surprise it wants to share- and that is called Boss Challenge Mode.

Like the name suggests, it will be a mode unlocked throughout the game which will allow players to fight previously defeated bosses. Either one at a time, or fighting them all after each other.
