ALL This Weeks DSi and WiiWare Downloads

Classic gaming fans are in for a treat this week as another Virtual Console Hanabi Festival gets underway, and we launch retro-themed WiiWare and Nintendo DSiWare titles, too!

On Virtual Console, clash with Dr Waruyama and his villainous Galaxy Gang in cult platformer Pulseman, and lead a band of rebels to victory in strategy RPG Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen - both released in Europe for the first time! More Hanabi Festival titles will be released in the coming weeks. On WiiWare, take a trip through the ages of video game history in Bit Boy!!, and blast back to the past in Gradius Rebirth - a brand new chapter of the classic shoot 'em up series! And last but not least, on Nintendo DSiWare you can download Mario Calculator and Mario Clock; each modeled after the classic 8-bit Super Mario Bros! And you can also put your grey matter to the test in Gameloft's Brain Challenge. VIRTUAL CONSOLE - PULSEMAN (SEGA MEGA DRIVE) (SEGA, 900 Wii Points):

When noted 21st-century scientist Doc Yoshiyama fell in love with one of his creations, a "C-Life" artificial intelligence, he uploaded himself into his computer to be with her. Her program core and his DNA fused to create an entirely new entity. And so, Doc Yoshiyama's "son", Pulseman - half-human, half C-Life - was born. Unfortunately, Doc Yoshiyama's mind was twisted as he emerged back into real life, and he became the evil Doc Waruyama. As Pulseman, you'll have to make your way through 7 crazy stages and stop Doc Waruyama and his villainous Galaxy Gang! Pulseman has the ability to harness electricity as a weapon, which can even be used in the form of a rapid transport Voltecker attack. Take Pulseman on his epic mission and find out why this classic title was regarded as a masterpiece of SEGA MEGA DRIVE game design! • some good stuff to come though. Electroplankton is coming, albeit it's being made available as single lots for each plankton. Still a nice download when it comes.
