Special Friday 13th Gorefest

OK so we know we've missed it by a few days but it has still been a scary weekend... hasn't it?

The first title in our Gore fest is the long delayed Manhunt 2. Unusually this wasn't due to it being unfinished but rather due to it being banned, temporarily anyway. Was it worth the wait though? We find out with our review of Manhunt 2 for the Wii.

House of the Dead: Overkill is a new release and part of Sega's unstoppable action franchise but how does it fare on the Wii? You can see what we thought by checking out our review of House of the Dead: Overkill for the Wii.

  Haven't tried Manhunt myself. Was contemplating it when there was all the pallavor over it's release and banning and then I just didn't bother when it finally arrived as it just didn't seem worth it. May well try it at some point. House of the Dead is great though. More of this kind of title would be great (although not necessarily more on rails shooters. Take note devs because that seems to all you want to give the Wii at the moment instead of a more built up game) and it's nice to know that Headstrong Games have already stated they'd like to make a sequel.
