SUMMER ROCKWOOD BREW TRAINS
Hop onboard a historic narrow gauge train at Rockwood Station bound for Cascade Canyon! On board these diesel-powered trains, knowledgeable Colorado craft brewers will introduce you to a light sampling of their fine ales and educate you about the process required for crafting each one. While at Cascade Canyon, guests will enjoy lunch, live music and more beer. During the return trip to Rockwood, dessert and coffee will be served. These are adult only trains. Everyone must be 21+ with valid ID.
What better way to experience spectacular fall colors! Hop aboard a historic steam train in Durango and travel through the Animas Valley and on up and over the dramatic highline, hundreds of feet above the Animas River to Cascade Canyon. On board, knowledgeable local Durango craft brewers will introduce you to a light sampling of their fine ales and educate you about the process required for crafting each brew!
Once at the Cascade Canyon Wye, deep in the wilderness of the San Juan National Forest, you?ll have two hours to taste more offerings from all of the breweries, listen to excellent live music by local bands and have your palate satiated with an exceptional buffet luncheon provided by one of Durango?s top catering companies!
Each brewery will tell their own story about their history and unique brewing process and will keep you engaged and wanting to know more! And of course, you will have unsurpassed photo opportunities and a chance to stroll along the river and over the Cascade Canyon footbridge. During the return trip to Durango, dessert and coffee will be served.
