I think what you posted was actually very logical. However, what about this? what if you added a little content? I am not suggesting your content isn't good, but what if you added a post title to maybe get folk's attention? I mean Start new topic is a little plain. You could glance at Yahoo's front page and watch how they create article titles to grab viewers to click. You might try adding a video or a picture or two to get people interested about everything've got to say. In my opinion, it would bring your posts a little livelier.
