I think what you posted was very logical. But, what about this? suppose you were to write a killer headline? I ain't suggesting your information is not good, however suppose you added something that makes people want more? I mean Start new topic is a little boring. You could peek at Yahoo's front page and watch how they create post titles to grab people to open the links. You might add a video or a related pic or two to grab people interested about everything've got to say. Just my opinion, it could make your website a little livelier.
