The game saw protagonist Nathan Drake return but in a larger adventure that took him around the globe, as opposed to restricting him to 1 island. It nails every element that drives this type of experience, and does so with a panache and flair that elevates it above the majority it's rivals. Of course there exists multiplayer and co-op modes to chew on, which gives the gamer something safer to look forward too when they complete the action.
