Title: Films of the Year
Post by: Andrew on January 06, 2012, 03:23:11 PM: I really enjoy a good film but last years quality offerings was incredibly thin on the ground. My favourites were:

The Guard
Drive
Midnight in Paris
Bridesmaids
The Artist

Did I miss anything?

Post by: Trent on January 14, 2012, 03:24:11 PM: I don't think I watched any new movies in 2011. As for 2012, already seen the new Studio Ghibi movie which came out this month (got the special edition bluray :))

Last good movie I fully enjoyed was Moon (2009) I think source code was last year? Then that.

I hope he ends up doing Mute at some point, but I don't think its his current project.

Went to see that in the cinema as well. Funniest thing happened though: 3 people left 5 minutes into the movie. Seemed it wasn't the Sci-Fi they expected from the title *sigh*
