Tales of the Tempest to support Wi-Fi

According to the-MagicBox, Namco has announced that their upcoming Tales game for the Nintendo DS, Tales of the Tempest, will support upto 4 players simultaneously over Nintendo's Wi-Fi Connection service for select missions in the game. This will be the first game in the series to go online.

  That is too awesome--especially since the battle system screams for co-op. It's too bad the Tales series is so overlooked by most gamers outside of Japan.

  I'm sure we would've seen it on the Japanese mini site by now. It's either completely fake or just the classic LAN and WIFI confusion. If it's true I'll...um...do something crazy *dosn't have a hat*

  I think the absurd amount of Tales games being released in Japan kind of compensates for any lack of attention in the West. Dammit, when are they going to do a new Narikiri Dungeon game?

  Tales is not overlooked, Tales series is now getting old. Many of the new games has the extremely similar story line and game play. The world is in danger because another world is going to attack the current world, the main characters must gather all summons to save the world... Just like Tomb Raiders, nothing new's going on. Tales of the World and Tales of Summoners are at least more innovative.
