DS is sold out in Japan.... Again

Nintendo's handheld is sold out in Japan yet again as retailers have run of out Nintendo DS to restock the shelves with.

It was only two weeks ago now when Japanese retailers started to get new shipments of the Nintendo DS to restock the shelves with, but it is being reported that Nintendo's handheld is sold out yet again and can be found nowhere in Japan. The DS Lite was just announced a few days ago, yet it seems the Japanese could care less, so who knows what the DS Lite will bring when it is launched in March.

  Obviously Nintendo are only shipping limited stock to cause a huge demand and 'sell out'. Much like Microsoft with the Xbox360 that no one can find.

  I don't think they are manufacturing less with the same incentive as Microsoft has with the 360. DS Lite coming out in March so they are probably asserting more and more resources to manufacturing that instead.

  The banners aren't bad. They help ds-x2. And you like ds-x2 right? And they are hardly obtrusive. Anyway, I might sell my old DS and buy the Lite. I can't help myself ;_; My birthdays in 27 days anyway :P
