  • That just confirms that MK:DS is going to be one hell of a game, packed full of features!

  • Nice ideas, but I still kind of wish they could have use Double Dash system for this (although that will be too exhaust for DS' 10k wi-fi connection.

  • well, if one person was merely deciding when to release a projectile or activate a weapon, i guess it would actually put less stress on the data stream. but i guess thats why there is only able to be 4 people in wifi races, a pretty decent number, but 8 would've been big fun.

  • Mario Kart DS will be awesome!

  • "...limited to the 100 cc engine class" What does cc stand for anyway?

    sydrocks, 30-11--0001 at 00:00
  • "cc" stands for cubic centimeters, which is a reference to the size of the engine. Anyway, this all looks good... except for the absence of Battle Mode on wi-fi. Why on earth would they let us do racing on wi-fi but not battle? If there's no wi-fi, that would be very dumb and disappointing. However, everything else looks awesome.

  • "cc" in Mario Kart, in addition to engine size, is sort of like a difficulty level for CPUs. 50 cc is generlly easier, 100 cc is like normal difficulty, and 150 cc is usually the hardest, except in MK:DD where Mirror was the hardest. (I still can't beat Mirror All-Star Cup or Special Cup.)
