NDS Touch Golf - Japanese Release Date

No word on a European or even US release, but good to see that it actually gets a release date in Japan.

Touch Golf, the second golf game heading to the Nintendo DS (the first being Tiger Woods PGA Tour will be hitting The Land of the Rising Sun(aka: Japan) on November 15th. The game is being developed by T&E Soft, who have being developing sports games since the days of the Super NES. So, enjoy a few images while we wait for a US/EU release date.

  • Played this yesterday at Nintendo too and I have to say it's one of the better golf games I've played and much better than EA's DS effort.

  • Is it? Sweet, does it have good controls, are the camera angles good and is the music nice?

  • Ugh, it looks like a GBA game it's so pixally. >

  • @ Chris: drugs are bad :( The GBA can't display 3D graphics, unless using the yetti engine. Watch actual footage of the game in action (no, not crappy internet video) N-next posted some movies a while ago, and this game looked awsome. All games look "pixely" in screens, but when actually displayed on the system, it looks MUCH better.

  • No, I mean this game look more pixally than most DS games. By GBA doing 3D, I mean FPS's, some racers and the like. Look at some screens for kill.switch for GBA and you'll see what I mean. Eh, it's all just a result of lack of texture filtering, only it shows more in these shots.

  • That isn't 3D, that's a pseudo mess of pixels. ;) And name one time when screenshots actually showed what a game looked like. Like I said, watch live footage of the game, it looks great. Nothing like the screens.
