Nintendo Snap Up MobiClip

Nintendo has added Paris based MobiClip to it's company portfolio in order to help with Wii U development although long time fans of the DS and even GBA will have seen the companies logo proceeding any title with FMV content. 

The Statement on MobiClips official website reads:

Mobiclip is now a subsidiary of Nintendo. Mobiclip is a Research and Development center specialized in the field of highly optimized software technologies. We are commited to provide the gaming industry with the latest innovations in middleware.

  'bout time. They have been using MobiClip for years on DS, hopefully they can use it to compress video for Wii U so they can have a lot of pre-rendered videos for the console.
