WII Nintendo reveals The Super Mario Collection

Nintendo has announced on their Japanese website a new collection called The Super Mario Collection.

Nintendo of Japan released some new release dates, most of the games where previously announced, but inside the list was something special and unique Super Mario Collection.

Nintendo had previously registered the collection as a trademark last year, and this year has finaily decided to push it out to retail. For the Nintendo Wii, it boosts in its collection Classic Super Mario titles. The collection contains all the All Stars versions of Super Mario Bros 1, Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario Bros The Lost Levels. It's unknown if titles such as Super Mario World will also be in this collection at this time.

The collection will also come with a Super Mario history booklet covering 25 years of Mario, as well as a soundtrack. It releases in Japan on October 21st 2010 for 2500yen. There will only be a limited print run of the title.
