The evolution of Mario

One of our readers, Jim B, pointed us into an interesting webpage: The Evolution of Mario.

When Mario started in 1981 as a 2D sprite, who could've thought there would be so many different forms of our moustached here over the next thirty years. Website 'The Kaycircle' has collected a small image of Mario from (nearly?) every single Mario-title released eversince. The result is somewhat astonishing: over one hundred different Mario's.
