The Little Monsters Are Looking for a Publisher
As gamers, you've probably realized that this economic downturn has resulted in publishers taking almost no risks with new IP's which is why you are getting so many sequels at the moment. It was a bit of a surprise then when our friend's, over at Torus Games, released details of their new game, Little Monsters.
The 3D platformer already runs on a number of platforms including the Nintendo Wii and features an impressive amount of features including: 8 playable characters with unique abilities for combat and puzzle solving Co-operative gameplay with drop in/drop out ability (AI takes over) Physics based puzzles with multiple solution paths Light and humorous combat Family friendly gameplay for all ages and genders Playable on 3 popular platforms; more available upon enquiry Worldwide rights available
The problem is, they are currently seeking a publisher in these less than favorable economic conditions. If you're still not convinced you can head over to their official site where you can not only view footage of the game in action but also some wonderful artwork.

A shame when this happens. And it's looking like it's going to become more common in the industry. Was it not Oscar Wilde who said if we lose imagination and innovation then the world becomes dull? We need to invest/promote the smaller developers and get the new ideas out to the market because if we don't all we'll see is sequels to Call of Duty or what have you and while it is ok for the industry in the short term, it will really hurt it in the long run. Investing in new ideas now means that there are potentially brighter futures. Here's hoping they do find a publisher for this. I don't like seeing people's hard work go to waste, which is why I was supportive of Winter when n-Space announced that was on hold.
To be fair, this very really works but I did have a hand in getting Karnaaj Rally published, on the GBA, some years ago which turned out to be a great game.
Wow that accuarly looks pretty awesome- I can't believe I missed this when you posted it. The only thing I think is it would be better on something like WiiWare, PSN, XboxLive etc. But then again...maybe not lol. They should just release their PC version from their site or something- then get a publisher after woods.
