WII New Zelda official

Although Mr Miyamoto already confirmed the new Zelda game for Wii in previous interviews, Nintendo of America has just released some official art on the new Zelda.

Legendary Nintendo video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto revealed this concept artwork for a new Legend of Zelda game planned for the Wii console during the E3 Expo in Los Angeles.

  • 15 years ago, who would thought an elf in Peter Pan outfit could be this cool?

  • It's a very nice piece of art work. Anyone guessing what the female is/looks like? Can't really say for sure she is because there were no details given but its likely she is the master sword in person form.

  • That would explain why Link is holding on to the metal shield but no master sword. They didn't really explain what master sword was made of in Minishing Cap, just that it was made.

  • Weren't all Zelda games seperate from each other? Sure, some elements return in various games, but each time the entire world seems 'new' to each other. I noticed the lack of a sword too, but also that there's no sword on the back... perhaps the female has something to do with that. Somehow she appears to me "sword-like" (you can call me crazy)

  • It's true that there is no official continuum between each Zelda title, but the guys at Game Trailer's Retrospective series has done a nice job of putting together a possible time line(s).
