Nintendo announces black Wii, red DSi... in Japan
Back when the Wii was first shown to the public, Nintendo showed it in various colors. Now, years later, Nintendo of Japan makes a black-colored Wii (and a red Nintendo DSi) available for purchase.
Nintendo of Japan has announced that a black Wii will be available for purchase in Japan. Below, a first shot of the totally black Wii can be seen. Of course, a black Wii is nothing without a matching black Wii Remote and an equally glossy black Classic Controller (Pro) and a black Nunchuk.

Nintendo of Japan also made use of the opportunity to shift in a red Nintendo DSi.

Prices for both colored consoles will remain unchanged compared to their regular counterparts, meaning for a price of approximately $260 you're able to switch your white Wii for a black one. Of course you could also consider buying a new casing for your Wii for a much lower price elsewhere...
