Nobilis announces My Baby 2
Nobilis' My Baby was a huge unexpected success on Nintendo DS. When such an event occurs, you'd better make use of it. That's why Nobilis and SouthPeak have joined forces and announced My Baby 2 for Nintendo DS and Wii.
Good news for those whose girlfriend suddenyl starts yabbing about having babies: SouthPeak announced that it will release a follow up to the smash hit My Baby games this fall, which should keep her busy for just a little longer. A continuation of the My Baby franchise, this new title for Wii and Nintendo DS evolves the genre and brings the gameplay to Wii for the first time.
Unlike other baby games that focus only on newborns, the next My Baby lets players raise a child through their toddler years. Your baby initially does all the activities you would expect, like discovering and learning from the environment, walking, babbling, and trying to eat everything. However, soon you will teach him or her how to speak and understand different colors and shapes. Improved graphics, sounds, and AI means the baby's emotions appear very realistic - these little bundles of joy will melt your heart as they grow up!
"The overwhelmingly positive response to the My Baby franchise in North America speaks for itself," said Richard Iggo, VP of Marketing at SouthPeak Interactive. "This is the perfect complement to the original My Baby games. We wanted to give fans of the first games a title to 'graduate' to, while at the same time being totally accessible for new players."
Refined controls on Nintendo DS and creative use of Wii Remote in the Wii version make raising a child even more fun than before. The new game is all about the enhanced interactivity of caring for a life and the emotions around the experience, not irrelevant mini games. No detail is overlooked - you can even customize your baby's room with new furniture and wallpaper.
Specific details on the two versions can be found on our gamepages of the Nintendo DS and the Wii version for My Baby 2.
