New Atari Titles

Several online retailers have started listing new titles for the Nintendo DS (and Wii) coming from Atari. Could they be right on Alone in the Dark 5?

Several European online retailers have updated they release schedule with several titles, all coming from the Atari stables. While this is nothing unusual, the appearance of Alone in the Dark 5: Near Death for the Nintendo DS is. As far as we could track, said title has never been announced for any Nintendo platform but only for the PC, PlayStation 3 and XBox 360. Whether this is a goof-up by Atari and/or several retailers, or thatwe struck a brand new title remains unknown for the moment. Atari will have enough time to clear things up, as the title is said to be released in November 2007.

Furthermore, the release schedule shows 5 more Nintendo DS titles:Tabaluga 2, set for September 2007Lucky Luke: Go West!, set for November 2007.Asterix Olympic Games, set for January 2008Cooking, described as a enterprise-simulation set for a release in February 2008Fashion Academy, also set for February 2008

Asterix Olympic Games, Fashion Academy and Alone in the Dark 5: Near Death are also said to face a release on Nintendo's Wii console.

  Alone in the Darkness was the best horror game, parts 1 ~ 3 were absolutely genius. But part 4 of the series is kind of slow and not as horrific. It is more about gun slinging than actual puzzle solving.

  I found a typo. Fashion Academy, also set for February 2006 ANYWAYS, I think there are too many Alone in the darkness...

  Oh yeh! Fashion Academy. Now we can all accesories to the max! Only joking. Its incredible how much tripe gets released on consoles these days. Out of those 'titles' I would have to say that only the Alone In The Darkness game would be of any value to one's pocket. But then again, it could probably turn out to be a big steaming pile of detrious. So the jury is still out...
